Description of the measure

Planting trees around the barn to protect the barn from heat with natural shade

Comments on sustainability

The cooling effect by planting trees around the barn is only visible once the trees are big enough for efficient cooling. This cooling doesn`t cost energy, the trees store CO2 and offer a habitat for a lot of animals. Furthermore the transpiration of the trees create a positive microclimate.
