Comments on sustainability

Cultivating adapted varieties/species stabilises the yield. Together with the common varieties/species (e.g. tall fescue, alfalfa, poa pratensis) this measure spreads the cultivation risk. The irrigation requirement can be reduced or the use of soil water improved. The cultivation of (new) heat-/drought tolerant grassland seed mixtures has to be implemented on suitable fields and according to the use.
