Description of the measure

Optimised hygiene in the barn, the pasture and in the feeding and drinking area reduces the extension of (new) pathogens

Comments on sustainability

Due to higher temperatures (new) warmth loving pathogens such as salmonellae, E.coli and parasites on the pasture are spreading faster. An optimized hygiene supports healthy and productive animals. This reduces the need for the veterinarian and for medicine.
