The delayed creating of driving lanes reduces the risk of erosion especially in hilly regions
Comments on sustainability
The missing driving lanes in the beginning of the plant developement reduce the risk for soil erosion so the soil is kept on the field. At the same time, more rain water can be absorbed into the soil and the washing away of pesticides and nutrients can be avoided.
