Description of the measure

Reducing the erosion risk by cultivation horizontally to the slope of the hill

Comments on sustainability

By cultivating horizontally to the hill, soil erosion caused by heavy rainfall can be reduced. The tractor tracks and the plant rows cultivated horizontally to the hill reduce the running off of water so the topsoil is kept on the field. The water can infiltrate and avoids the running off of nutrients and pesticides.
